Being Crafty - Girls Day Out

Joanne organized a girls day out.  The task - making something at the pottery store.  I had to give this one great deal of thought because I really have no artistic talent.  Photography, sure I can do that.  But anything involving drawing, painting, or starting with a blank canvas --- way out of my ability.  But there was going to be wine and food and friends. So how do you say no to that? 

Jane arrived with a very specific plan and stencil.  But hey, it's Jane and crafts so I cannot be too surprised with that.  I ended up deciding to make a picture frame -- but even then had a hard time deciding how to decorate it.  I was advised to use a white background . . .

The smudge by the "a" was not me -- that was when she was showing me how to paint.  Sadly, they never fixed the smudge and it became part of the end product.  But as a group we had a fun few hours hanging out and playing.
