Made it to Crossfit for the first time in about 10 days and it was good to be back. Somehow, although always challenging and difficult, it makes me feel better.
So Thursday was:
Warm-up:
200 m run, 15 air squats, 10 walking lunges, 5 push ups (3 rounds). Have to say it is amazing how far I have come with squats. When I started boot camp, I could not do a squat correctly or even do more than a few without stopping. Guess that's what happens when you learn and practice.
Back squats:
5x3 at 90 pounds.
WOD
15 AMRAP
15 box jumps
10 HKE
5 v-ups
As for box jumps, I am still at the 20 inch box. I have not box jumped in a long time, but it's a skill I need to work on. But the good news was that my HKE (hanging knees to elbows) were better than they ever have been. I got much closer than I ever have. So, slow progress, but I'll take it. Oh finished 5 complete rounds and 10 box jumps into round 6.
