Hit crossfit today in the morning. A change for me. Today's challenge was Grace: 30 clean and jerks as fast as you can. Although Eric was sure to stress form first, over speed and that using a light weight for speed also defeated the purpose.
I last did grace in September. I finished in about 6:57 with a 60lb load.
Today I used 63lbs, and finished in about 7:11 (might be 7:30ish, but cannot remember as I type). I was obvsiously a bit slower, but I did try to make sure to stop and concentrate on things Eric said I needed to work on: slowly coming up, hitting my knees, mid-thigh and pockets and jumping up the bar, instead of trying to muscle it up with my arms and making sure to bring my scapulas back and keep everything tight instead of more rounding over the bar. So while I was slightly slower, am hopeful my form was a bit better (thanks for the emphasis Eric).
A fun way to start a Friday.
