Another Trip to Connecticut

So after my fun Labor Day weekend, it was back to Connecticut for more depositions. The high note of my trip was that it was actually sunny:

(The Old State Capitol building in Hartford and proof it was actually a beautiful day.) Interesting travel note of the week: So on my way back from Connecticut I stopped in Dallas. I was asked to switch seats on the last leg so that a husband could sit next to his wife. Of course, I said yes. I ended up sitting next to Barry Switzer who coached the University of Oklahoma for many years and won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys. We had a nice visit during the 3-hour flight, but I have to give the man kudos for his patience with everyone else. The minute he got on the plane someone wanted to talk about a high school football team and the guy across the aisle could only think to ask him if he was running the L.A. triathlon. (He was actually heading to shoot the NFL Today on Sunday morning.) Despite people in his face all the time, he was extremely polite and patience. This is in stark contrast to Journey, where someone actually came to the airport to wait for the band and get a guitar signed. One of the band members essentially ran away from this fan and then laughed about how he got out of signing an autograph. I thought it was a bit tacky. So kudos to Barry and thanks for the stories on the way home.
