- This is easy. I can jog wherever. Heck, I can even jog in place.
200 yard sprint followed by plank position (times two):
- The main problem here was figuring out the sprint. I could not sprint outdoors because it was below 20 degrees and icy (more of the issue for me). Treadmill does not work too well for this. I thought about a jump rope - but did not have one. In the end, I looked up and down the hallway of the hotel and figured - why not? I guestimated it was about 40-50 yards - so up and back twice should be about 200 yards. If someone came out and stopped me, then I would deal with it. It was not perfect, but you have to do what you have to do. But the benefit was I could run barefoot, which always feels good. So I ran the first sprint - and timed myself and then used that as the time to be in the plank. And then rinse and repeat.
Plank and push ups:
- At boot camp, this was apparently more of a game where someone crawled under the group of 7 holding the plank position and then everyone did 5 push ups. As this was "boot camp for I", I guestimated it would take someone abut 25 seconds to crawl. So I did the plank for 25 seconds followed by 5 push ups - times 8. (This was apparently the number of people in each line at boot camp.)
Climbing a wall over and over:
- I had no wall. I thought about climbing over the bed. But as short as I am, it is really not a challenge. So I substituted in 100 dips for this exercise.
Wheelbarrow:
- I thought it might be improper to ask someone at the hotel to hold my feet while I wheelbarrowed up and down the hallway. So, the closest thing I could come up with was some bear crawls. So I did 100 bear crawls.
Sprint and lunge:
- So it was back to the hallway for another sprint followed by 100 walking lunges.
Not exactly what everyone did in class on Wednesday. But I am trying to do what I can to follow what is being done and make sure I get some exercise in as much as I can.
