Well, I am happy to finally be back from my long trip to Connecticut and back to the sunshine and warm. While this weekend, I went running in shorts and a very light long sleeve shirt - last weekend (seems so much longer ago than that) I was running through the snow and ice.
As it was only 15 degrees outside, I bundled up with 2 pairs of socks, a pair of running pants, a pair of sweats for over those pants, two long-sleeved shirt, a sweatshirt, gloves, and a beanie. I decided to run to the state capital:

After a few miles, the wind started really blowing making the cold unbearable. (Maybe that's why everyone was looking at me strangely for running in the cold.) So I headed back to the hotel for breakfast and then some more work before watching playoff football.
After the continued cold, I was happy to come back to California.
