Saturday was one of those rare days when I was traveling and actually had some time to look around. A friend of mine was getting married in Dallas, and I found myself with a few hours before the wedding, so I decided to walk down to Dealey Plaza.
I have always been fascinated with with history, and JFK's assassination as well. (Well, admittedly that is an understatement. I am a bit of a history geek - even majored in it. )
So, my brief trip to Dealey Plaza I found interesting, although I did not actually learn much new, as I have read and watched so many things on JFK's assassination, conspiracy theories, magic bullets, etc. But I still found being there and seeing things first hand was interesting.

I think the thing I found most interesting was how fascinated people were with the history involved. People had maps identifying where things happened and were just meandering along the street. It was fun just watching people try to walk exactly where the events that have been told and retold in history took place.
