This was the week that seemed like it lasted forever. So, after working all day Sunday - I took a red-eye from LA to Dallas and then supposed to continue to Connecticut. But as we were flying to Dallas, a large snow storm hit the northeast, cancelling most flights. So as we landed in Dallas they cancelled my connecting flight. Stranded. Great! The next flight I was able to get on left Dallas at 8:15 p.m., which meant I spent 15 hours in the Dallas airport.
Tuesday early morning I landed in Connecticut, headed to the hotel, and worked until about 4 a.m. Slept for about 3 hours, got up, and headed to the office. Worked a bit, drove 1 1/2 hours for a meeting, had the meeting, drove back to the office to meet this deadline. Here is the snow piled up outside the office:

Wednesday While we met the Tuesday midnight deadline, we had to prepare other documents. As a result, I was working until 4 a.m. I headed back to the hotel for a shower (where it took 15 minutes to get warm water), and then back to the office and the airport, where I took a flight to Chicago to meet with someone else. After the meeting, it was back to the airport and back to Connecticut. I returned to the hotel around 8:30 - when I sat down to do more work. (Hard to work in the middle seat in coach.)
Thursday - Time to get up early because have to drive another 1 1/2 for another meeting. After a full day, drove back to Hartford. Back at the hotel at about 9 p.m., where I was pretty tired. Caught up on email, and it was a bit after 11:30 p.m. when I woke up.
Friday - 4:30 a.m. my alarm went off so I could get up, back and head to the airport. Got home around 2 p.m. (pacific time), and then continued working until it was time to meet a friend for dinner. The sun rising - as I left Connecticut:

Saturday - Jane, Dave B. and I headed to the beach on a bike ride. We hit some pretty awful headwinds, but it was great to be outside enjoying the warm California sunshine!

We also saw a bunny:

Sunday - while I did a little work, it was mostly a relaxing day. Church, nap, mani / pedi, laundry and get ready for the next week!

Glad you're finally back for a bit. Are you doing the tri at Bonelli?
Thanks. I am glad to be home too. I am going to "try" to do the "tri." :) Only wrinkle is that for the April tri I get back from vacation less than two days before. But hey, why let that stop me?
