I am also trying to take stock and be thankful for the little things in life. Right now the main thing is that I just get to be home.
So at this point, I have been home for three whole week days now. Seems like forever, since I have not been home for that long in a long time. Funny how things change when you know you will be around for at least a week or two . . .
I went to Trader Joe's and decided I could buy perishable food. (The cheese in my refrigerator was lonely.)
I have been able to get to boot camp two days (Monday and Wednesday) so far. It has been great to see everyone, but also kind of frustrating to have to start all over again. Seems like 2 steps forward 1 1/2 steps back.
I have had time to spend with friends (St. Patrick's day in particular).
I have put my suitcase in the closet.
I have made various shopping "to do" lists - which I had been putting off.
I made various appointments to take care of me - which I had also been putting off. (e.g., eye doctor, dentist, etc.)
So, now I just have to take advantage of being home to run all of the errands and do all the organizing I have been putting off. But I am thankful I am at least home to take care of these things. . . at least for now

And it's good to have you home for a bit. Welcome back to bootcamp!
