The next week after
Thanksgiving I was feeling the after effects of Turkey day. Not that I actually ate that much, but I was not as productive as a could have been and it was going to be a busy week at work.
Monday I decided to go to boot camp. Because we were at the Academy, I had a few extra minutes to get there and made it fortunately. We did a bunch of rowing and a bunch of lunges. Now I suck at lunges all by myself, but we added two 15 lb dumbbells to the mix. Made it more difficult - as if I needed the added degree of difficulty. We finished up the night with some sprints, which I always like for some perverse reason - even though I am always winded at the end. (I can run fast for short periods of time - it is the distances that kill me.)
Tuesday through Thursday I worked, worked, worked, and worked. I got home late each night, making me agitated and grouchy. (As if one was not enough!)
I ended the week wanting another four-day weekend and a vacation. Neither is on the horizon!
